For your consideration is this vintage bookend set by Leon D Bloch & Company featuring a kneeling American Indian wearing a headdress and shooting an arrow. The back is embossed with the company name and the item has been steam cleaned for a fresh look. The trees surrounding the Indian provide a scenic touch to the piece. The bookends are made of cast pot metal and finished with paint in brown and green colors. They date back to the early 20th century and have an Art Deco aesthetic to them. Each piece weighs 1 lb 11.8 oz and measures 4.3 inches in length, 2 inches in width, and 5.6 inches in height. This unique and beautiful set is perfect for collectors of period and style-themed decorative pieces.
Condition: One does have a crack in the metal on the back...common for these types of pieces as a manufacturing defect. The felt has been removed from the bottom of them and some abrasions and finish loss is observed adding to their vintage aesthetic.
