For your consideration is this beautiful sculpted thimble produced by Okura of Japan. In 1980, the Franklin Mint commissioned a set of 25 thimbles from the major British, European and American porcelain houses. This thimble is part of that set and carries the Okura backstamp. This lovely thimble is adorned with Okura's "Chinese Man Playing Child" pattern in Chinoiserie style. Visual inspection revealed no defects. The Thimble measures 1.11 inches tall x 0.91 inches in diameter (bottom).
