For your consideration is this vintage small lidded casserole dish produced by Northland of Japan most likely during the 1970s. The transfer pattern used is called Harvest and comprised of an onion, mushroom, tomato, ear of corn, bell pepper, olives and bay leaves. It meaures 8.25 inches long x 5.5 inches wide x 4 inches tall (with lid). It is absolutely the perfect portion size for two. The sides and lid is ribbed and the entire piece (except the bottom) is brown speckled. The bottom is impressed and reads "OVEN PROOF / MADE IN JAPAN". Due to the pourous matte finish on the bottom, it is lightly stained. The inside of the dish has crazing. The image transfer is still clean and crisp. There are no chips present. Lovely vintage piece to add to your collection.
