Check out all the detailed pictures of this vintage anchor door hanger. It may have been a manufacturer’s emblem at one time. I believe it is an alloy metal that was painted in the gold/bronze color that it is now. It looks similar to the Navy emblem but does have some minor differences. As you can see from the pictures, it is 5.5” tall and 3.75” at it’s widest point. Age uncertain but definitely older.
