Unit seems to be new, as no rusting / marks are on the hooks. And also appears to be bright in color as it would be if unused and never out of the package. 

Item does show some aging (yellowing) to the clear plastic cover; as to be expected. The box is in good shape also, doesn't appear to have any damaging. (please see photo's for better reference)
