Pictured is a large blue & white spongeware custard cup offered for sale.  The cup is sponged-decorated

with an irregular smoke ring design around & is highlighted with a blue brim.  It measures 2 5/8" in height,

4 1/8" in diameter, & dates from 1895 - 1920.  It's in excellent condition with no nicks, damage or repairs.
