Back cover is missing 40%  front cover has decent gloss and is actually pretty decent, spine shows wear. I have not seen a book with adhesive tape holding the spine to the book. Staples are properly placed and discolored but not rusty.  Moderate spine roll. On the positive side the book is complete and readable. Our good friend Marlene has her name on this one also. Reading copy only.  Look at the scans and make your own decision.
