A modern take on nymphs and sprites, the Spring 2008 Prada Fairy Collection was created in fantastical colors and a sleek, aughts take on the stylish heroines that may spring from a story book.

Heralding from this collection, this silk skirt boasts a lively, wavy, blue and red plaid check, reminiscent of a gingham.

A high yoke accentuates and tightens the waist as it moves into the fullness of the skirt. Waistline gathers toform a slight bubbling as the skirt travel over the hips and moves into a series of horizontal pleats that create a visual illusion with the skirt print.

Unlined, this skirt closes at the side with a concealed zip.

This skirt is in very good condition, with minor wear that's consistent with the age of the piece. The bottom hem is finished and features some light fraying.
