Apple iMac 27" 3.2GHz i5 1TB 8GB Ram AMD Radeon - Late 2015 - Postage To Be Agreed

Available for purchase is a Used Apple iMac 27 Inch 3.2GHz i5 1TB HDD 8GB Ram AMD Radeon - Late 2015 A1419 model supplied with Wired Mac Keyboard and Magic Mouse.

Hopefully if you are looking at this listing you understand what an iMac is and why you want one. Being the 27" model you have a much larger screen area, which if you're a designer or perhaps a video editor will be of great use,  and works quite well as a screen for films, TV and streaming.

The iMac has been wiped and has just been re-installed with the latest possible MacOS for an intel mac,  12.7.3 Monterey. As a 3.2GHz model there is plenty of processing power for rendering and being a Late 2015 model has an access panel to add more RAM. It has been found this model can take up to 64GB of RAM, which would make you the Rod Stewart of your street! If needed I can source and fit extra ram for you, price to be agreed of course.

Screen

The screen is in great condition and being a Retina 5k has a lovely quality of image. There are also no cracks to the glass and the tilting mechanism is functioning fine (due to the weight of the 27" model the tilt mechanism can wear out, so the unit won't hold position). 

Storage

Being an iMac you are limited to what has been fitted internally, unless you remove the screen and put a larger drive in or add an external HDD, and fortunately this iMac was specified with a 1TB SATA Hard Drive from new. It's a 7200rpm model so will be quick enough for video editing.

Graphics

Being a Radeon R9 M380 graphics card model there is also a fair amount of power to display graphics with it's additional 2GB GDDR5 Ram. Whilst not a powerhouse for gaming it would be capable of playing most games, albeit probably not the latest ones...if you're looking at an iMac for gaming then you're in the wrong place! What it can do when using applications like Premier Pro or Photoshop is taken some of the work away from the main CPU.

Mouse and Keyboard

Hopefully you can see from the pictures there is a genuine wired full size keyboard supplied along with a magic mouse. The full size keyboard gives you the numerical pad which is useful if you have to put in number values fairly often.

Inputs and Outputs

This generation of iMac still has plenty of holes as pictured before apple decided you weren't allowed them any more! I've tested as many as I can and they all work. The SD Card and Headphone hole can get damaged, but they work fine. I don't have anything that's thunderbolt to test those sockets, you're welcome to bring something to test if you're collecting.

Postage

Delivery to be negotiated between us as it's obviously a fragile device due to its mass to send even if it had the original box...even then I wouldn't really want to send it via a courier. I'm more than willing to deliver in person with a hour and a bit of Daventry.
