Thank you for considering our personalized cutting boards! To ensure that your order is customized to your exact specifications, please follow these simple steps:
1. Please send an image of your recipe to our email recipe [!at] forest-decor.com along with your name and order number. Include a photograph of your loved one if you'd like to engrave the photo next to the recipe as well.
2. For the best outcome, please send the photograph in high-resolution (or better yet - a scanned copy) on a well-lit & flat surface (clear photo and not blurry) and avoid casting any shadows. Lower resolution or darker images affect the quality of the engraving.
3. If you donโt have a physical recipe to engrave, you can send your electronic recipe in a Word document, PDF or any other format. Please also confirm the font you would like to use if you have any preference.
4. If you have any specific requests or comments about your order, please include them in the optional field below. ** Note all recipes are engraved on the side with juice groove unless otherwise requested (if you've purchased a board with juice grooves)
PLEASE NOTE:
- Choosing a walnut cutting board for engraving may result in significantly less clarity for both text and portraits, especially when compared to lighter wood options like maple and cherry. If you have concerns about this, we suggest opting for a maple or cherry board. Please be aware that while we would like to predict the exact outcome in advance, the appearance of the portrait on the walnut board can often only be determined after the engraving process.

We provide a small care instruction card with all of our orders. To maintain the quality of the cutting board, do NOT put it in the dishwasher or submerge it in water. Hand wash the board and dry it immediately.
We recommend that you do not cut on the engraved side of the board, which is the display side. If you purchase a juice groove board, please note that our designs are engraved on the juice groove side unless you clearly request otherwise in the "Notes to Seller" section.

Standard international shipping for Canada and Europe typically takes 4-15 business days, while the rest of the world takes 8-25 business days for regular standard shipping. Please note that the BUYER is responsible for all duties and taxes accessed by your country. Potential duties and taxes are not included in your shipping price.
