One very early Orvis CFO Il screw back Fly Reel with WF4F Line and suede case. Fly Fishing reel from Ed Shenk's Estate.  

Reel can be switched from right hand to left hand wind. Reel is set up for right hand wind and works fine.

 Reel shows some wear, rubs, areas of rash or missing finish and small grove in line guard. Please see photos. 

THIS REEL IS FROM THE LATE ED SHENK'S ESTATE. ED WAS AUTHOR OF FLY ROD TROUTING AND INVENTOR OF SEVERAL VERY EFFECTIVE FLY PATTERNS. 

A FEW OF THE FLIES THAT ED INVENTED ARE THE SHENK LETORT HOPPER, LETORT CRICKET, CRESS BUG, WHITE MINNOW AND SCULPIN.
