Betty made her debut in the 1930s, and what a great collectors set by Fleischer studios. She is still in the blond hair image that was to be changed early on when it was realized to be far easier to draw blocked in black hair than the fine line required to outline blond. There is an image of Koko operating a hand cranked movie camera while Betty is posing on the teapot. The plates depict Betty in different poses!
Included are the teapot, creamer, (4) saucers and (6) small plates.
The set is in good condition with no repairs that I see. Some wear to the graphics and luster as expected with age.
A VERY RARE TEA SET
The teapot stands approx. 3 1/2” tall
Saucers measure approx. 3 1/4” in diameter, and small plates measure approx. 3 3/4” in diameter.
Nice addition to your collection!
