This is an excellent American handmade duffel in all saddle leather, an original Ghurka Bag in style No. 2, "The EXPRESS BAG." It is the 64th Ghurka Express Bag we offer! This classic Ghurka duffel bag in saddle leather, tanned in an organic vegetable dye, looks fantastic! This bag is large and roomy yet very light. The Express bag has a beautiful charm! The attention to detail to make life easier is incredible, such as two front pockets with a flap closure that doubles as an organizer for travel documents, cell phones, business cards, and credit cards, a top zipper document compartment, and a vertical zipper pocket in front to easily access your documents even if you have full hands and need to access your documents, or umbrella/newspaper holder on top. The bag is in excellent condition! The bag does not have any flaws. We rated this bag 8.8 out of a perfect 10!

Founded in Connecticut in 1975 by luxury belt and brace designer Marley Hodgson, Ghurka has served as a symbol of superior American leather craftsmanship for over thirty years.
The origins of the Ghurka brand can be traced back to a fortuitous discovery at a British auction house in the early 1970s. Hodgson inspired a love of history and leather craft bid on Hodgson campaign travel gear and leather boots formerly owned by a British Ghurka officer stationed in India at the turn of the 20th century. He was so impressed by the quality of the nearly century-old leather – durable yet supple despite its age – and by the intricate craftsmanship that he was compelled to launch a line of comparable leather accessories. Hodgson tracked down the lost tanning formula for these boots and other accouterments carried by the legendary Ghurka regiments and applied the manufacturing process to his new collection ".
