Handmade Lampwork beads are made one at a time  by  heating a cane or rod of glass over a flame torch and then applying the molten glass around a rod called a mandrel. The bead is held over the flame while it is worked on and cooled slowly to strengthen the glass. It takes a lot of skill to keep the bead from losing its shape and the adding of other colors in swirls or flowers demands much concentration.

These three beads are:
Almost all the same 9 x 17mm Rondelles with Blue Core, Clear Glass and White Dot Bumps on the outside.

NOTE:  Since each bead is made individually the sizes may vary by .5mm but they look the same.
