This was tested and works as it should. It is heavily scratched on the top my guess they probably had another vcr sitting on top this one and scooted around. The price was lowered due to the scratches. If you think this one is in to rough of shape for you it's probably is! This is one for someone that just wants to watch thier vhs cassettes.
