Handmade Lampwork beads are made one at a time by heating a cane or rod of glass over a flame torch and then applying the molten glass around a mandrel. The bead is held over the flame while it is worked on and cooled slowly to strengthen the glass. It takes a lot of skill to keep the bead from losing its shape and the adding of other colors in swirls or flowers demands much concentration.

Five of these beads have four yellow dots around the circumference, One has 4 dots on top and 4 on bottom.  Two beads have only sky blue and lavender patterns around the edges. There is only one deep burgundy bead with blue dots inside the glass.
All beads have patterns of lavender, dark and light blue or white. Photos are fairly accurate colors.

I can give exact measurements of each of these upon request.

Price is for the set of 9 beads.                                                             Beads by Melamoon
