This brass-cased clock is in full working order and keeps good time.  Unsure of exact age but believed to be from the

         early 1950's.  The movement is shown in last photograph and indicates that it was made in Coventry (Smiths took over a

             company called English Clock And Watch Manufacturers Limited of Coventry in 1932 - that company owned the trade

                                    names of Astral and Empire, which Smiths continued to use for a number of years)

                                                                       In superb condition with a good, strong beat.
