For sale is this original painting of a horse and rider. I believe it is an illustration painting for a children's book of nursery rhymes from the second half of the 20th century. It is signed in pencil lower right K.J. Proctor and has a hand painted poem upper right. The painting is on artist's board and measures about 15 by 12 inches. It is in good condition with some minor fading and staining only. Tears to the backing of the card.
