There is a pot for boiling medicinal concoctions. The Buddha's appearance is similar to Phra Phaisachayakuru which believes that every Phra Kring amulet is Phra Phaisachayakuru (He is one of the Buddhas of Mahayana Buddhism, he is a expert in the field of pharmacy and medical treatment). According to beliefs in the past, people used to take the Phra Kring amulet to soak in water and pray for it to become holy water and drink it, which was believed to cure disease. And another belief is that it helps to be safe from any danger. Have a safe trip and fortune.

The earliest making of Phra Kring occurred in Tibet and China. Therefore called the Phra Kring Tibet and the Phra Kring Nongsae. In the later era, it was popular in Cambodia, there are 2 Phra Kring, they are Phra Kring Ubakeng (Phra Kring Phanom Ba Keng) and Phra Kring Phra Pathum Suriyawong. And the Phra Kring Pathum Suriyawong was built in large numbers during the reign of King Jayavarman VII to worship Phra Buddha Phaisachayakuru. After that, it spread among Thais and Laotians. For Thailand, the evidence of making the Phra Kring amulet was before the Rattanakosin period.

There is a small metal bead inside the Phra Kring body. In order to shake and make a sound when praying for blessings from the Lord Buddha. There are 3 sizes of Phra Kring: large size for home worship, small size for making holy water and carrying with you.
