High-speed transfer performance

SATA 3.0 external transfer interface can reach a theoretical transfer rate of 6Gbps.

Full speed, the transfer rate is affected by the configuration of the device and the performance of the SSD hard drive.

Slightly different from the theoretical data is normal.

This adapter card without chip does not affect the transfer speed.

How to distinguish between SATA protocol and NV ME protocol?

1. Check the label on the SSD to see if there is a NV ME or SATA logo on the SSD.

2. If there is no logo, please check the model number of the SSD to understand the SSD protocol.

Q1: Is it possible to have 2 different brands of hard drives loaded?

A: Yes, it is possible to use 2 different brands of NGFF SSDs.

Q2: Is it possible to use only 1 SSD position?

A: Yes, you can use only 1 SSD, just make sure the switch is toggled to the corresponding position when you use it.

Q3: Does it affect the transfer speed?

The theoretical speed limit of NGFF hard drive is 6Gbps.

However, The compatibility between different brands and models and computer devices is different.

Thus, the actual transfer speed varies.

Q4: Is it possible to install my own cable and SSD case?

After testing, our cables are compatible with most devices and are recommended to be used.
