These plain toes are very simple and easy to match, but the feel and construction are truly
HD's.

HD was originally known as the Rolls Royce of shoes, but the Apollo era was softer in comfort that many people prefer the shoes of this era.

Overview
The shoes are handmade by skilled craftsmen and are described as "like walking on a carpet" in terms of comfort.

Due to the handmade production by a small number of skilled craftsmen, only about 8,000 pairs are made each year. The Norwegian manufacturing method using a weaving technique called tsopnat (cue stitch), which intertwines two leather straps and a hemp cord, requires a very high level of skill and is the brand's symbolic manufacturing method.

Only carefully selected materials are used: Shell Cordovan from Horween of the United States is used for cordovan, and Gretsch full calf from the prestigious German company Weinheimer Rader and box calf from Dupuis of France are used for calf.

For the leather outsole, Johann Lendenbach's Oakbark sole, renowned as the best in the world, is used, and the rubber sole is made in-house."
