Here I have my very rare and amazing condition (possible unworn deadstock) Haelson brand German I believe early (circa 1930s-early 40s) horsehide with soft moleskin lining motorcycle riders britches/plus fours.

I’ve had these a while to go with my 2 flat tank 1920s motorcycles but I’m coming to terms with the fact I’ll never fit into a 30” waist as I love ale as much as I love vintage motorcycles!

These really are in almost as new condition, the horsehide is near perfect, soft & supple, as is the soft moleskin lining, the brass zips could use a drop of lube but are very good and also ornate & original, the fly zip is diagonal with double storm flap, it has internal buttons for braces and zips at the bottom cuffs, has double layer leather on the crotch, inner thigh & knees, adjustable cinch buckle sides waist adjusters & is complete with a belt too (the belt matches the colour but I suspect it’s a later addition).

These fit up to a 30” waist

Waist laid flat measured across 15 1/2” (31”)

They are high waisted and bottom cuff designed to meet the boot top so shorter than modern pants.

Inside leg is 24 1/2”

Outside leg is 35”

These are very rare but are also very wearable & are clean without musty smells & ready to wear (or display)

Please note the last two vintage photos are what I found on the web as examples of similar for reference only
