When light glows behind the translucent porcelain picture, because of the varying thicknesses in the porcelain, varying intensities give it a dimensional quality and a warm glow.

The round porcelain lithopane measures approx. 5- 1/4" diameter. Golden scrolled metal holder is approx. 4" wide in front and 2- 7/8" deep. Metal holder has a 1- 1/2" indent to hold the tealight.
