Greetings!

These markings represent a M4A4 Mk.V Sherman tank

(T-147477) of 'A' squadron 4 troop, Ontario Regiment, 1st

Canadian Armoured Brigade as it passes through Via Don

Luigi Sturzo, Trecastagni, Sicily 9 August 1943. Although

not shown in the picture we have included 5th Armoured

Division markings,  tactical unit markings, bridge weight

marking, and the air recognition roundel that was still being

used in this phase of the campaign. These markings would

be correct and could have been on this tank at some point.

The choice is yours whether to apply these markings or not.

As with all DGS Military Hobby decals we

recommend clear coat first using acrylic floor wax and

the use of Tamiya Mark Fit Strong to apply your decals.
