This is a rare National Washboard Company #116 Victory Washboard. Rare because of the low number of #116 and made of all wood. 

While it is weathered and faded, one side reads: VICTORY WOOD -The wood used for this washboard was made Of Materials not needed for defense and to help win the War. On the other side it reads: National Washboard Co., No. 116, National, Trade Marks Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. Made in U.S.A. Memphis, Chicago, Saginaw. 

It measures washboard is 23-1/4" tall and 11-1/2" wide. Stable and it is in good condition very weathered and showing some dirt and stains from age as do many vintage wooden items. Please see images up close for nicks, aged and discolored areas of the wood.
