This is a rare antique Sphinx Chocolate advertising fingerjoint wood box that dates to the 1930's-1940's probably. Box advertises on all the sides and on the top & inside of the attached hinged lid as well. Box advertises for Sphinx Chocolate Decorated Pineapple Cores manufactured by the Sphinx Chocolate Corporation of Brooklyn, NY.. Box is in good condition overall for its age with just some natural wear present. Please see pictures for design and condition detail. Measures about 10" wide by 3 and 3/4" tall by 7 and 1/4" thick.
