Our beautifully elegant ceramic drop mugs are handmade in Vietnam, using age old traditions that have remained unchanged for generations. With a beautiful raised droplet pattern on the surface of the mugs, each individual tear drop shape is painted free-hand, using a specialised technique involving a great deal of skill on the part of the artisan. The pattern not only looks striking, it adds an appealing tactile quality to the mug. If you run your finger over the surface of the mug you can feel the tactile contours of each teardrop. Thanks to the traditional methods used to craft this ceramic collection, no two pieces look the same, so you get to enjoy your morning coffee from a mug with its own unique character.
The Drop collection is handmade in Vietnam using a wealth of techniques some that are thousands of years old. Each hand crafted piece is painted and shaped by artisans, incorporating indigenous and contemporary influences.
To care for your mugs, we recommend washing after every use to prevent staining. Use a mild detergent and do not leave to soak. Handle with care to prevent chipping.
