Journey Into Mystery #107 is a vintage comic book from 1964 that features the first appearance of Grey Gargoyle, a character in the Marvel Universe. Created by Jack Kirby, the comic also stars Thor and is part of the Journey Into Mystery series. The issue is a single edition in low-grade/poor/fair condition with a cover also drawn by Jack Kirby. It is a must-have for collectors of US comics and fans of superheroes and the Avengers.

This is a pre-owned Silver Age comic in a very low grade/poor/fair condition , with significant and substantial defects and flaws, but still mostly whole/intact and readable. The front cover has excessive /heavy surface wear with a totally abraded spine including( the cover is detached, except for amateur tape holding it to the spine, there are smaller missing chunks/pieces along and near the spine area. A missing chunk bottom corner triangular piece 1/2 x 1/4 inch, multiple tears, cracks, nicks, ticks/indenting wrinkling along the spine), The cover has major dimpling with cracking, scuffing, discoloration in spots on the cover. The outer edges have moderate wear. There are multiple creasing in several places, along with a smaller missing chunk on the bottom right corner(triangular piece 1/2x1/2 inch). There is substantial corner wear with blunting/rounding, degradation on and near the spine. Colors/inks are much lower, and gloss/sheen are very low, almost complete lack of reflectivity. Inside cover has amateur tape repair on bottom of inside cover. Inside pages are tannish ,a little brittle, pages 13-15 are detached, all other pages are intact, with no cut outs, no missing advertisements, back cover is held on by amateur tape. Back cover has serious jagged edges, with missing pieces, completely loose from the spine, with hanging pieces, bottom/top cover has jagged edges, missing pieces.Significant wrinkling/foxing, dimpling in various spots on the back cover. This comic has significant /substantial defects, it can be considered a very poor/ low grade comic, but despite the cover/surface issues, it is still complete, readable , a key issue and worthwhile.
