Audiolab has kept the preamp circuitry with the Omnia as simple as possible, using circuitry similar to the high quality Audiolab 6000 series. The signal integrity is ensured by using top-class materials, with the line input signals being sent to a precision analogue volume stage. Audiolab have intended for the Omnia to be an outstanding pre-amplifier even when compared to stand-alone pre-amps.

The Omnia is built with a dedicated Moving Magnet (MM) phono input so a turntable can be directly connected to the high-quality, low-noise, phono stage with precision RIAA equalisation.

The Omnia has an ethernet port for network streaming, which is perfect for the higher bandwidth requirements of high resolution digital audio signals. Also, for convenience the Omnia allows for high quality, low latency Bluetooth with aptX standard connections.
