This is a multi-band scanner with many options for selecting frequencies to scan. It handles FM, VHF (aircraft), VHF (low), VHF (amateur), VHF (high), UHF (amateur), VHF (standard) and VHF (extended) bands.
I couldn't figure out how to find active channels in the limited time I had to play with this, but it does work for FM, so I don't see any reason why all the other bands wouldn't work. The display isn't very bright but is useable. I also didn't connect an antenna or extend the built-in antenna for testing.
The manual says it can be run on 12VDC as well as 120VAC but I only tested it on AC power.
It's old and looks it but cosmetically looks pretty good.
