Vintage Club Habana Cigar Ashtray

Ashtray measures 6.5" x 4.5".

It is in overall Very Good Vintage Condition with no cracks or chips.  There are imperfections in the glazing but part of the manufacturing NOT damaged from use.   I am calling it used only because I cannot guarantee that it is new and unused.  What a great find and conversation piece.  Don't confuse this piece with the Havana Club in New York.  This has a much deeper  root and history.

An extremely rare and vintage cigar ashtray from  Club Habana is a unique addition to any collection. The black ceramic with raised white lettering design provides a stylish touch to your smoking area, while the brand's association with Cuba adds a touch of history to the piece.

A mansion built  in 1928 once housed the Havana Biltmore Yacht and Country Club.  Today, it has swung full circle and is a popular hangout  for diplomats and affluent visitors.  In the 1950's, it gained notoriety when it denied entry to Cuba"s president  Fulgencio Batista, because he was black. Thirty years later, Fidel Castro had better luck and became one of the very few places  Castro  dined in public.

This ashtray is a great find for collectors or those looking for a special touch to their smoking area. Its material is ceramic, which provides durability and a classic look. Its categories are Ashtrays, Tobacciana, and Collectibles, which indicates its value as a piece of history.

Disclosure: Pictures 5 and 9 show imperfections in the glazing. Both are superficial and on the same side.
