Feldpost envelope sent to member of the Sturmbrigade Dirlewanger (penal-brigade who was known for several warcrimes). The letter is sent Berlin to soldier at the feldpostnumber 00512f (=Sturmbrigade Dirlewanger) and is at arrival at the unit given the units seal ( = dienststelle feldpostnummer 00512. The soldier was at the time not active at the unit and the Sturmbrigade Dirlewanger feldpost reception has handwritten: “Zuruck! Neue Anschrift abwarten” (return - wait for new address). The envelope is cancelled in Berlin on 26^th of June 1944. The brigade was serving in Belarus with “anti-partisan” duty at the time.
