We're selling a PAIR of Time Magazines featuring covers of 2 Major Selling, Culturally influential films - Fatal Attraction (November 16, 1987) and Thelma & Louise (June 24, 1991).  Both of these include mailing labels to the same residence in Newport Beach, California.  A handful of secondary subjects of these two issues include Toyota Motors (back cover of both),
While Time does a remarkable job of presenting entertainment topics, it's not often a film is subject of their cover.
Fatal Attraction studies the dissonance of Affection (and/or forbidden, highly-charged sexual attraction) and Disaffection (obsessive, high-octane pursuit and murder) and became an ongoing cultural cliche which stands the test of time.  In the year it was released, it was the second-highest grossing movie of 1987 in the U.S. and highest grossing film of 1987 worldwide.  It is still 'revered' for its brilliant acting-out in the genre of a thriller.
I've included some of feature pages regarding the film in the Time issue.
While Thelma & Louise very much remains a revered film 30+ years later, and is consistently considered a culturally groundbreaking movie.  First opening to an audience at Cannes in 1991, it went on to win Oscar Gold for Best Original Screenplay while both Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis were Oscar-nominated for Best Actress.  It went on to become a landmark of a feminist film.
Full of (mostly humorous) unpredictable crimes and chase scenes, it was and remains a magnetically quirky, excellent work.
