Have an Early First Year Leica M2 or M3 in your collection?   If so, here's a Very RARE and Very Early Vintage Leitz Body Cap for Leica M cameras.   I think it's from the mid 1950's--- for an early M2 or M3--- maybe only from the first year of issuance---- The Bayonet Mount Portion is Brass attached to the typical plastic face plate--- or is it Bakelite?   By a year or two afterward the body caps had the brushed aluminum bayonet portion.  So this is a Very Scarce variation!   It's in Very Good condition--- it has an assortment of tiny nicks and small blemishes on the bayonet mount portion, a little scuffing on the front side.  But Nice Patina on the Brass!   Perfect for an early M2 or M3.  What you see is what you'll get.
