This is a superb pair of antique French gilded metal curtain tie / hold backs dating from the 1800's. They are of good weight and gauge and would hold back a substantial pair of château curtains.

They are hinged so they hang freely from the wall and allow drapes to be secured back in a natural and elegant manner.

The front of the hook has a swirling acanthus leaf design and the back plate has scrolled detail.

The gilding to the metal has mellowed to an antique old gold.

The tie backs have a strap on the back of the top plate and can be fixed to the wall by hanging them on a hook. One of the tie backs has a hole in the top plate to take a screw.

They measure :- H 30 cm (11.8 inches) x W 5.5 cm (2.1 inch) x D 14.5 cm (5.7 inches).

This is a superb pair of curtain tie backs to add a château chic finishing touch and another divine antique French find from La Belle Ètoffe.

Returns
Returns are accepted within 14 days.

Once we have received the returned item
and have verified its condition, we will issue the refund .
