The thirteenth impression of this famous anthology, issued in the same size and format as the first impression published in 1914. Dated from a fifth impression held at the British Library.
Containing nine short stories, including 'Dracula's Guest', originally written for Stoker's 1897 novel Dracula, but deleted prior to publication, 'The Judge's House,' 'The Squaw,' and 'A Gipsy Prophecy' among others.
CONDITION
In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally sound with minor shelf wear, lightly bumped to head and tail of spine and extremities of boards, fading to back strip and minor damp mark to front board. Rear joint starting. Previous ownership inscription to endpapers, undated. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
