Since this book was marked as a classified allied counter-intelligence reference manual for US forces as they invaded German occupied territory. Given the nature of classified info, this original print was incredibly limited in number. Note the handwritten declassification date by the Colonel who this book was issued to. This was found at a US veteran’s estate sale in Texas. The topics covered is everything the Allies knew at the time regarding the German police. Any and every German leader is mentioned in detail, rare photos taken by special operation units, high-resolution color scans of all German documents and uniforms with descriptions of meanings and significance (see photos), and so much more.
Condition
Incredible. No tears to any of the pages, mold spotting ,water damage, no faded text or to the color images. The only page that has creases is the map at the very
back of the book (see photos).
Pricing
I will consider best offers however, the most recent sale I
saw of this book was in Europe years ago and it went for over 1,000 USD just by
itself being in lesser condition as this one. So please, serious offers only.
