LTF LED 30watt no load indoor remote electronic DC driver transformer. 24volt, compact, low profile, small form factor easy to use design. Great for powering DC LED Strips, LED Bulbs, Incandescent & Halogen Bulbs. See specification sheet for more information.
No-load electronic transformers can only be bench tested with devices capable of measuring at higher frequencies such as a Fluke 289 or better voltage meter. No-load can be measured this way with or without a load on the device. The reason for this is a lower end meter standard electricians field meter would measure voltage that are DC or < 50-60 Hz only and not this transformer.
Measurements done with a field voltage meter will give an incorrect reading or no reading at all. Please be aware of this when testing the transformer. The no-load is designed for both LED Loads, and halogen / Incandescent bulbs.
However, for standard halogen lighting loads a no-load transformer is not necessary. Total lighting supply offers a video on testing standard transformers. Request the video and we will send it to you.
No-Load transformers can be full loaded to the load specifications. However we cannot guarantee full load performance if your circuit is not engineered correctly for lighting loads, lamp type or wire gauge and length. Proper project engineering is required or downgrading the load on the transformer may be a option.
Example: With a 300watt transformer, one single run at 300watts may required a #10 gauge wire depending on the distance.
Low voltage wire when used on some loads have voltage loss based on load type, wire size and distance from the transformer. Splitting the load when available may be a good option as the amperage at full load is very high.

Returns & Replacements
Let us know as soon as possible. If we caused the problem we will correct the problem and make it right.
Look inside the box. Most of the time the product inside is perfectly fine but it will help to have pictures of the damage if the product inside is damaged. If the product inside the shipping box is damaged take more pictures. Once you have documented the damage, let us know as soon as possible. We will work fast to correct the problem. Please have your pictures ready to send as this will help expedite the process :)
The return will have a 25% restocking fee and the cost of shipping and small order fee (if applicable) will not be refunded. You will be responsible for all shipping charges to our location. We do not take returns on special orders, power track, or used transformers that do not fall into scenario two. But don?t panic! We are here to make this process as smooth as possible. If you can keep the product looking brand new in the box so we can resell it, most likely the restocking fee may be reduced or even waived. So just keep this in mind when receiving and opening your order. A little time spent opening boxes and removing product here may pay out big time in the end if you need to return the product.
