The box is by no means in good condition. I will ship bubble wrapped in a cardboard box. Will package with great care but because of the size I can’t guarantee no damage in transit. I taped over the original tape spots on the box for shipping.

Since I purchased, the set has been in a climate controlled smoke free environment. When I received the set, the box and manual smelled like it had been stored in a non climate controlled basement, possibly around perfume. That smell is almost completely gone from the box since I received the set, but I wanted to note this to be upfront. The manuals still slightly have this smell.

Set was purchased used last summer, assembled and displayed, dusted, and taken apart.

I’ve carefully disassembled the set, but with its age some of the pieces are really creaky, and a few are stuck together. I didn’t want to force them apart and risk breaking them.

When building old sets, whenever pieces have broken on me, I’ve reached out to LEGO and they promptly send replacements, even when I didn’t buy from LEGO. If the piece is no longer produced, they will not send.

Some of the joint pieces have started coming apart. They still work, but I’ve placed them in a separate bag in case they come apart in transit.

Some pieces have discolored I believe with age.

Some of the joint pieces that you snap another piece into broke, as well as a brown 2x2 plate. I received replacements from LEGO.

I used the part list sheets and checked off as I disassembled. Since I was not the original owner, I wanted to verify 100% completion before listing. There are almost no extra pieces with this set.

Will ship UPS, USPS, or FedEx, whichever is most affordable at time of shipping. Will ship requiring a signature.
