I've seen some other Corby Whiskey scoreboards from the 50's but they tend to be designed to hang and are much smaller. This large colorful display, probably used in bars and taverns, has the eyelets to enable it to be hung but also has pop out cardboard braces  on the back to allow it to stand freely. Not a widely known Whiskey-- more of a regional brand--. One wing tip of the Parrot has been repaired ( see photos) and  may need repair again after shipping, there are some dings and flaws but the overall look is dramatic and eye appealing. Board was designed with a ridge below scoring lines and team name cards and inning run total so  sheets could be placed in the proper positions  and then  removed for next game-- (  name plates or score plates not included)-- might have come with scoreboard, might have been a home made thing--- Scarce in every regard with a lot going for it--- size, design, regional aspect, unique----   a great display piece--   free shipping
