This auction is for a used  Vintage Steelyard Pea Scale - Hand Forged Iron 4 Hooks - 150

no marking to indicate the maker

Used sliding scale  - balance beam - I have not cleaned it up - it is all there - it has surface rust and darken metal = it was red at one time  -150 is marked on it  - there is play in the pins and eyes that hold the hooks - just think how many pounds it weighed - this could out of a meat shop (butcher shop) or weighing out grain in a sack or bucket - person can clean it up and use or it would make a good decor for the shop, office, or the home.       

 Actual weight of the scale is 5 lb. 7.0 oz.

This is a Estate sale find.
