From WG catalog Book #8:

Bush Poplin Fly Fishing Vest

Anglers go to remote mountain streams and quietly study the waters. We go to remote mountain streams and quietly study the anglers. We watch how they work, what they bring, how often they use it, and when. And then we design a vest around it. For instance, accessing standard upper-chest pockets is awkward, so we angled them to accommodate the natural movements of the arm and wrist. A catch-and-release camera is always needed when you don't have both hands free, so we made its pocket with a side opening for quick access.

Hello Business

The ubiquitous cotton-poly blend vests don't breathe well and get hot, so we designed in a big zippered back vent and made ours of W&G 100% cotton 340 Bush Poplin*, which offers the additional advantage of shedding rain extremely well. Should you need even more protection, a rear slicker pouch is just a hand's reach away.

Naturally, there's a preponderance of other pockets as well, for muciline, tweezers, permasink, forceps, fly boxes, licenses, et al. Suffice it to say, there are twenty-eight pockets of all shapes and sizes and various loops and tabs to accommodate all manner of fish-catching contrivances. For comfort, we added a neck support strap to keep weight evenly distributed across both shoulders and a nice soft cotton collar. After all, you'll be there awhile, won't you? Imported.
