Signed by Professional Football Player Reggie Bush who played for the Univ. of Southern California in  2005. 

"To Regis, Fight on Trojans! "The Push" Reggie Bush #5. Bushes signing of the jacket was to tease Regis on the last second victory USC had over Notre Dame when Reggie Bush pushed quarterback Matt Leinart over the goal line during Oct. 15, 2005 classic college football game. Reggie Bush won the Heisman Trophy in 2005.  

Regis Philbin is a Notre Dame alumni, and a livelong supporter of the University. He is buried at  Cedar Grove Cemetery located on the Notre Dame Campus. 

A signed leather and wool letterman jacket once owned by Regis Philbin. The sleeve is signed by THE PUSH. The signature reads TO REGIS, FIGHT ON TROJANS! THE PUSH, 5. The body of the jacket is wool, the sleeves are leather. 

Green and beige toned in color. Interior satin lining, has a quilted pattern. Jacket has two exterior lined pockets. 

Interior tag reads MITCHELL & NESS, COLLEGE VAULT. 

Provenance: This item was generously donated by Regis Philbin's family and was the property of their Greenwich Connecticut Estate. All auction sale proceeds were donated to the Bronx Food Bank. The Benefit Shop Foundation Inc auction house conducted March 24, 2021. 

Career of Regis Philbin: Regis Francis Xavier Philbin (August 25, 1931 - July 24, 2020) was an American television presenter, talk show host, game show host, actor and singer. Regis Philbin holds the  Guinness World Record for the most hours on U.S. television.

After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, Philbin served in the U.S. Navy and got his television start serving as a page for The Tonight Show in the 1950s. He got his first network TV exposure in 1967 as Joey Bishop's sidekick on The Joey Bishop Show. He is most widely known as the co-host of the New York City-based nationally syndicated talk show Live! with Regis and Kathie Lee, starting in 1988, which became Live! with Regis and Kelly in 2001, and continued as Live! with Kelly after Philbin's departure in 2011.[

Philbin debuted and hosted the US version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, Million Dollar Password, and the first season of America's Got Talent.
