Looking for a reliable RF Amplifier, rated for continuous duty, for your low power 900MHz repeaters?  Or maybe you LOVE the capabilities of your new single board SDR (Software Defined Radio), because you can now conquer the upper bands.  But at only 100mW output it just doesn't have enough power to compete? 

Well LOOK NO FURTHER!!  This 150 Watt RF Amplifier from Crescend/Milcom/Powerwave is a great solution, with only 100mW-500mW required (**see note below for details), to obtain up to 150 Watts of RF ouput in the 900MHz spectrum. 

These amplifiers were all purchased as “Kenwood” equipment. But Kenwood purchased these from at least 3 different vendors and rebranded them, as is common practice in the technology industry.  Most of these amplifiers were missing the Kenwood branded add-on front panel. (We have a few extras if anyone actually wants one.)  But the units were all made by Crescend, Milcom, or Powerwave and are labeled as such. Now Powerwave is no longer in business, so if you want to dig deeper with your research before you purchase, try searching for Crescend's P15-2L1-C6-001 amp and you will find the current version sells from their distributors for an MSRP of around $2700.00. 

OH!  We almost forgot to mention that  OURS ARE LESS EXPENSIVE!

Most units have a max input power of only 250mW-500mW. The output power rating for each is around 140W-150W depending on model and manufacturer. And we've found those figures to be relatively accurate, especially after a unit is aligned and tuned properly.

Since our used amplifier inventory is a mix of different manufacturers and minor variations in the models they offer, the actual unit that you receive will not match the photos nor any serial numbers seen in the photos above.  The photos were taken of two units which we recently sold.  Both were going through the test/cleanup process prior to being packed up for shipping. Yours will go through the same process. 

These are excellent amplifiers and were built for providing continous duty service, required for repeaters.  So although they are USED and therefore are offered for sale with no warranty, they were designed and built to provide continuous duty at repeater tower sites, which means a few things to us as resellers.  

• They weren't designed to fail, as so many things are designed to do these days. Instead they were designed to be used at maximum output, continuously --without stopping/failing.
• The internal design and layout is straightforward, modular, and lends itself to very simple repairs --if they are ever needed.

So although we can offer NO warranty, we DO have a blanket NoDOA policy. There is nothing worse than ordering something online that arrives Dead On Arrival.  We apply power to any and all equipment just prior to packing it up for shipment.  If it doesn't power up, then it doesn' ship out.  We treat our customers as we hope to be treated in return.  And if you have questions, please feel free to ask.  We will respond as quickly as is possible during 9-5 business hours.
