If during re-inspection we discover a door or drawer isn’t functioning properly, find watermarks and visible scratches with color loss (usually on the top surface) or veneer chips, our Master Restoration Team carefully restores the surfaces using tried and true restoration techniques with the original colors and finishes used by the manufacturer (the same way it was made). So we can make it right with our Master Restoration Team before it ships.

Our standard restoration (included with your purchase) gets the piece really clean and removes any watermarks, deeper scratches with color loss and chips, and makes sure all the drawers or other moving parts are working the way they should. We personally like it when we remove the big imperfections and leave the little ones for the character but add a layer of finish over them to freshen the whole piece up. If you like it that way too you're good to go because that's our normal process anyway.

We can also strip sand and refinish the whole piece for a like-new from the store appearance. This lets us customize the color tone too. We just charge for the extra shop time.

If your order does NOT need restoration or if you’d like it without restoration, you can let us know at the time of your order and we’ll get it on the next shipment to your area and please do tell us any personal deadlines you have and we’ll do everything we can to get it there on time.
