Vintage 1970’s Marco “Castaway” 12’ Beachcasting Fishing Rod

A Marco “Castaway” two-piece beachcasting rod, 12 feet long, made of hollow fibreglass and dating back to the mid 1970’s, complete with original cloth bag.

The rod is in good overall condition but I highlight the following:

Minor surface corrosion to the reel fittings although I suspect this will clean off. It does not look to have penetrated (see photo).

One ring is bent and distorted – needs re-shaping or replacing (see photo).

The two supports for the end ring have become unsoldered. They need re-soldering or maybe the ring replaced (see photo).

There is No Shipping on this item as it is longer than the permitted length for any carrier that I have found. Hence it is COLLECTION ONLY from New Radnor, Powys LD8 2SS.

Described as best and as fully as I can, so no returns please on this.
