Print America's Graphic Design Magazine -  March/April & May/June 1979



Founded in 1940 by William Edwidge Rudge, the focus of Print was to demonstrate the importance of the printed arts.  Included here are two issues from 1979 - March/April and May/June.

These are not library discard copies. No former ownership marks, no subscriber address labels on the covers, no writing on the text pages.   The magazines are 9" X 12".     Advertising inserts are included.

March/April 1979 -  'Maps:One Kind and another" -  Bartholomew, Edinburgh's mapmaking company - Redefining Animation - Tom Zetterstrom - Women in TV ads - 98 pages.  Small crease to the top right corner, a diagonal crease at the top right corner, about 1/2 inch across.



May/June 1979 -  Special Issue - Herb Lubalin reviews the previous forty years of typography.  98 pages. Little bit of a crease to the bottom right corner, about 1 inch across.


Very sturdy and heavy magazine, each issue weighs close to 1-1/2 pounds!
