Offered is a vintage 1920's - 1930's young girls frock dress in a fantastic blue & white all over poppy print, with a lace edge on the collar, red trim, a red bakelite buckle, and a single shell button at the back of the neck. The poppies appear in all their forms, from the dried seed pods to the serrated leaves, and different stages of the flowers. No tags, and I have no idea what the size is. Lying flat, it measures 12 1/2" at the shoulder, 14" under the arms & at the belt line, & 25" at the bottom hem. Also about 25" from neck to bottom. It's in very good condition, and looks new to me aside from some light fraying & tattering of the collar lace. No stains, & it doesn't look like it's ever been laundered. The collar would benefit from ironing. Cotton or a cotton blend, no synthetic materials here. This is from Grandma's estate via Mom's. Mom was the 3rd youngest of 9, and was born in 1922. The others would have been too big for this dress by the early '30's. So that pretty well dates it. It's a real nice piece!

I've been buying & selling here for over 20 years. Most of my items have been off the market, from estates, or in collections for decades. They are guaranteed to be as described, and are often OOAK, especially as far as availability on eBay.
