For sale is this set of 6 vintage discontinued Portmeirion Botanic Garden patterned egg/votive candle holders in their original box.  Made in England.

Botanic Garden patterns include SPEEDWELL, FORGETMENOT, COMMON TOMENTIL, SCARLET PIMPERN, RHODODENDRON, and HEARTSEASE.

Each holder has a different scene of flowers, bees, butterflies, ladybugs and moths all around the outside, with a circle of leaves on top.

On the underside the words "The Botanic Garder circa 1818  Portmeirion" are printed, with floral detailing; two also include the number "37".

These six charming pieces can be used as holders for decorative eggs or servers of cooked eggs; they also can be used with votive candles (ideas for use are found in the pictures).  Will hold up to an extra-large chicken egg.  Wax votive candles fit well but electronic candles are a little wobbly if they are too large in diameter.

The eggs and candles shown in the pictures are for display purposes only and are not included in the sale.

Each holder is 1 inch tall, 2.75 inches in diameter on top with a 1.25-inch diameter hole, and the base is 3.25 inches in diameter that tapers down to 1.25 inch at the bottom.

Microwave and dishwasher safe.   Each has varying amounts of crazing but no chips, scratches, cracks or repairs.

Each weighs 5.5 ounces empty.

I will ship same or next day via FedEx Ground Economy, UPS Ground or USPS Ground Advantage.
