These Gotz Designer Dolls named KEMBA & BINTU were produced in 1992 and were designed by doll artist SYLVIA NATTERER. KEMBA (shown left in photo on the right) has an approximate height (in cm/inches) of 50cm/20"; BINTU (shown right in photo on the right) has an approximate height (in cm/inches) of 23cm/9"; these dolls have an original catalog code #: NONE. KEMBA & BINTU are LIMITED EDITION dolls produced by Gotz with a total of 1,500 dolls produced worldwide, over two catalog years (1992 and 1993). They originally came with the following separate accessory: small brown clay water jug. An original, separate Certificate of Authenticity also came with this set; the approximate, original, suggested retail price for this set in 1992 and 1993 was $499.00.
